, ,We are seeking a web application developer to join our team based in Mont-Saint-Guibert (Louvain-La-Neuve). The ideal candidate will have solid experience in web development and a comprehensive understanding of the associated ecosystems.
Our application is currently desktop-based and developed in C++. We aim to migrate it to the web to support its future evolution. Our Mont-Saint-Guibert team covers a wide range of technologies and products (electronic design, embedded systems, mobile and cloud applications), embodying the true meaning of "full-stack."
Your function:
- Collaborate with a team of two expert developers of the current application (developed in C/C++) and contribute to its gradual migration to a web application.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable web applications.
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development processes.
Your profile:
- Degree in computer science, web development, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web development.
- Portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and associated frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
- Experience with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
- Knowledge of code versioning tools (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Good practical knowledge of English is a must; proficiency in French is a plus.
