Job Purpose

The Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of the product of the project, for team’s performance and adherence to company procedures. 

In this role you will oversee the initiating, planning, execution, monitor and controlling and closing phases of development projects in the heating and cooling industry.

This role requires significant project management and leadership skills, demonstrated ability to influence and lead and cross-functional business acumen.

The role involves managing cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the cross functional project team, establish the project execution approach, allocate and manage resources and oversee activities to achieve all project goals.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor and control project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
    Identify , qualify, quantify and manage project risks, ensuring that proper risk responses actions are in place and opportunities are actively pursued.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members as appropriate.
  • Conduct quality reviews and implement necessary improvements.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and team members.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on project status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Generate regular project status reports for management review.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation in accordance with IMI processes, procedures and regulatory requirements.
     

Qualifications for the role

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment with predictive/hybrid approach. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum is a plus. Proven track record of managing development projects, including concept and new product development (NPD).

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills with proficiency in project management software.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Certifications:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is highly desirable.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.
  • English is a must.
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
