Role Overview:

The GEO HR Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing the human resources operations within a designated region. This role involves implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the business objectives and foster a positive work environment. The GEO HR Leader will work closely with the local HR teams and management to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and to promote employee engagement and development.

 

Work Environment: This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with on-site presence at one of Climate Control’s manufacturing locations in either Eysins, Switzerland, or Olkusz, Poland.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction. Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Drive engagement action plans.
  • Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Drive the right employee relations strategies across the region.
  • Performance Management: Support and guide managers in the performance management, drive performance culture across the region through processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR legal requirements.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs. Ensure full compliance across the region and provide input and recommendations on competitive market trends.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Analyze HR metrics and provide reports on regional people analytics. Use data to inform HR strategies and decision-making.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Build a strategy to drive diversity and inclusion in the region. Work with the local HR teams to build initiatives and implementation plans to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion.

 

Critical Competencies for Success:

  • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to travel within the region as required.
  • Experience in a multinational company is preffered.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is highly advantageous.
