Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic finance team. The scope of this role covers Western Europe. The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial guidance and support to our sales teams across multiple markets. You will work closely with sales leadership to drive profitable growth, improve our market shares, financial performance, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support business growth objectives.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering

·       Prepare business cases to support strategic growth initiatives and entity growth around product, customers, and investments.

·       Develop orderbook and project pipeline reporting in accordance with country and sector needs.

·       Ensure the sales team focuses adequately on selling new products by providing them with the necessary tools and information, thereby driving product vitality and innovation.

·       Provide constructive challenge and support to HoS and RHoS.

·       Analyze wholesale contracts to ensure rebates, discounts, and profitability are properly understood.

·       Prepare wholesale negotiation template annually for key customers, driving mutual sustainable profitable growth.

·       Provide ad hoc financial support and analysis for all stakeholders.

 

Financial Analysis and Performance

·       Manage the forecast and budget process for assigned LRD, including adjusting product sales volumes S&OP forecast with inputs from CRM, OEM demand planning, and market intelligence. Develop detailed price forecasts based on these inputs.

·       Combine price and volume inputs to prepare the sales, SPI, and product forecast, gross margin, and review and adjust forecasts with input from HoS.

·       Provide input for month-end closing for subjective/calculative journal entries, including rebates and revenue recognition.

·       Complete detailed SPI analysis, including customer mix, product performance, rebate impact, and discount analysis, and provide input for areas needing attention.

·       Explain gross margin performance and deviations to comparatives (prior year, budget, forecast), highlighting actions to sustain and improve performance.

·       Prepare input for monthly results template and support OPR preparation for RHoS.

·       Provide input and analysis to support the weekly latest view of in-month performance.

 

Financial Control & Statutory

·       Owner of the internal control and governance. Support audit process and sign off on audit findings.

·       Liaise with outsource partners and SSC to ensure timely delivery of statutory reporting requirements.

 

 

Qualifications

·       A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are highly desirable.

·       Extensive experience in financial management, preferably within a sales environment, with at least 10 years of relevant experience.

·       Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with proficiency in other European languages being highly advantageous.
