Junior Category Manager

Role Overview
- We are seeking a Junior Category Manager.
- As a Junior Product Manager for the TA brand, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive technical and commercial sales support for our products.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and sales teams to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies.
- Conduct competitive intelligence research to gain insights and support product roadmap creation for future enhancements and market competitiveness throughout the product lifecycle.
- Your responsibilities will encompass technical assistance, sales support documentation, logistic activities, and coordinating ERP adjustments to optimize efficiency throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Sales Support: Provide technical expertise to the sales team, assisting in understanding customer requirements and identifying suitable technical solutions to meet their needs.
- Commercial Sales Support: Assist in creating technical sales presentations, product training materials, and other technical sales support documentation. Collaborate with the technical marketing team.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth technical market research and competitor analysis to gain insights and identify opportunities for technical product enhancements.
- Sales Performance Monitoring: Analyse sales data, technical specifications, and customer feedback to evaluate product performance and propose technical improvements.
- Product launch: Work closely with R&D and operation Teams during development phases to ensure the product is delivered on time and market launch is done seamlessly.
- Product range: Collaborate with the Category Manager and engineering teams to develop and execute sales strategies that align with the brand's technical objectives. Participate in technical discussions with customers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to clarify product specifications and address technical inquiries.
- Market Research: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and relevant engineering developments to enhance our product offerings.
Critical Competencies for Success
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Previous experience in engineering, technical sales, or product management is an advantage.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex engineering concepts and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently to meet technical and business goals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
